Starting in the 19th century, continuing as the Calculating, Tabulating, and Recording Company in the early 20th century, evolving into International Business Machines in the 1920s, helping with the US war effort in WWII, and ultimately evolving into the world’s leading computer company in the early 21st century, the only constant with IBM has been business innovation.
